Our CEO & Founder

Andrew Corton

Andrew is a planning and testified delay expert with 37 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries.

Besides having the credentials you want on your side, he has arguably one of the most valuable skills of all when it comes to construction planning, delay analysis and dispute management: Common sense. As much as he wishes this were a prerequisite in the industry, if you’ve found your way here, you already know that it often falls short.

Over nearly four decades, Andrew has been engaged by contractors, subcontractors, private and public sector employers, and insurers across the UK, Middle East, Americas, Africa and Asia. For the past 19 years he has specialised in programme and delay consultancy services, providing pre-contract and post-contract planning advice, project progress audits, independent expert delay analysis and support through claims and arbitration.

When the opportunity to build his own consultancy arrived, Andrew knew he wanted to avoid the key issues he’d observed in the large, high-headcount consultancies he’d spent years working both for and against. Instead of spreading experts too thin across multiple matters and delegating key work to assistants, PDQ protects the capacity of its team and keeps expert oversight where it belongs. Instead of prioritising volume, PDQ prioritises continuity, accountability, and defensible analysis that stands up under scrutiny.
